Thanks in advance.

What will the difference be between the +35 and +40 with both stock suspension and a slight drop?
+35 would be 5mm further out. I would go with the +35 because it would look better.

Yes 16" snow tires are fine. Many people use them. Some people use the oem wheels as the snow set, some just buy a set of 16's.

18x9.5 +34 lowered on Tein Lowering springs with whiteline camber bolts. What tires would be the prefered tire for fitment and grip?

Hey guys! I bought Work Emotion Kiwamis. These are the measurements:
Front Rims: 18x8.5 +38
Rear Rims: 18x9.5 +38
Front Tires: 235/40
Rear Tires: 265/35
Lowered ~1in. (highest I could get from KW's V3)

I had these recommendations by a shop. Nevertheless the tires are rubbing at the rear. I added camber (front and rear at -2) to try and solve it with no success (I now understand I would have to buy upper control arms which are too expensive for me at the moment). But anyways, the tire is rubbing at the rear whenever I take a corner or when the car is heavy (with people or luggage). The time has come to change the tires (with no thread left and 2deg of camber you could imagine what it's like) and I want to buy tires that would fit, given stock camber and not rub at all.
Please note that the rubbing appears to be with the plastic, not the metal on the fender (the tire is not cut as in with the metal body of the car). Nevertheless, when it rubs constantly(like a lot of weight at the back) I can start smelling burning tire, so it concerns me a lot.
Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!!!

So I've seen a lot of people use 114.3 adapters, what about going to 120?

And i've seen most of people using native patterns. What about getting right bolt pattern wheels in first place?

There's a specific set of wheels that are on sale for about 1/3 of the price they usually go for, but they're 5x120. What do you mean by "native patterns"?

under native pattern i mean 5x100. And what you'll gain from that sale you'll partially loose on conversion hubs/brakes to come with them and so on. Not worth it. Simpler bolt pattern changing spacers might be not that expensive, but still will limit what eg. offset wheels can be, will be a bit less reliable, under some track rules are not allowed to be used and so on.

Makes sense, seemed like a bit of a stretch to change bolt sizing that much. thanks for the info!

Just a general question... To get my winter tires installed, should I bother with a shop (I already have the tires mounted / balanced via tirerack) or just suck it up and buy a new torque wrench?

And if so any recommendation on a torque wrench to purchase?

17x10 +38
-1.5 camber front
-1 camber rear
springs, not coils

What do you think?

Also tires.. probably would be like a 285/40..
I can't really find anything on this size.. let me know! Thanks.
