Gauges

I'm not 100%sure this is the right forum but since they are electronic equipment I decided to post here. Does anyone have any experience with jdm sport gauges? I was taking a look at some options to monitor things like oil Temps and afr. I noticed that the jdm sport ones were super cheap compared to one's like the aem wideband. Just curious is anyone has experience with these and opinions on what direction I should go.

Post a link to the product you are talking about. JDM? Does J stand for a city in China? Because I doubt they have anything to do with Japan.

JDM? If you can buy it in any country it's not really JDM.

I did too when I searched on google. That is why I asked him to link it.

OP I cant see the first link because my browser warns me of malware on that site. I would stay away just because of that. There is a reason why no one sells them.

AEM is expensive because it includes the bosch sensor.
Autometer has been reliable and accurate from my experience.

What mods do you have that would need these gauges?

My guess is you are near bone stock and it's your first manual transmission car. And that you are being paranoid for nothing.
Amirite?

Spend a couple bucks and get the torque app on your phone. You're welcome.

Right now I'm on the Jackson racing supercharger kit. This is my first manual transmission car, and I'm trying to learn as many things as I can about them. Unfortunately, I don't know to much about what brand to trust and stuff. From what I've been reading the kit is very reliable, and I haven't read about any of them blowing up on the carb tune. I plan on getting a custom tune after I finish modifying my exhaust system.

My understanding is that I should be monitoring the things I mentioned because if they aren't at the right levels it could lnead to catastrophic engine failures. If you guys think it's unnecessary for me to have a dedicated system in place I'm more then happy to grab a phone app lol.

I'm running the same kit and went for a Greddy Informeter for oil, water and intake temps as well as oil pressure. Also added a stand alone Innovate AFR. So far very happy with both.

Got the AFR on a custom pod for the AC vent on top of the dash and the Informeter just to the right of the instrument cluster. That was suppose to be a temp position but I quite like it there.

Don't have a pic but will add one tonight.

Did you get the block 8 head ones for the afr? I remember looking at those and they seemed nice.

Are you on aftermarket catless headers?
