I'm #133 - a BRZ.

I'm almost 100% sure that AT and MT are in the same sequence. They have a digit in the first half of the VIN code that signifies transmission type.

I think BRZ's and FRS's are all in the same sequence of VIN production numbers. Of course, I can't prove this until I see an FRS and BRZ with the same final 4 digits.. My main reason for this theory is that we've seen BRZ owners near or over 1000 already. I don't think Subaru has sold 1000 BRZ's in the US already though.. Last report was May sales of 271 cars..

My BRZ went from 00215 to 00508 because apparently the same car was assigned to 2 different dealers. Thankfully it didn't delay me in getting the car at all.
