Make sure it comes with the 3 bolts/nuts. Removing the exhaust brackets may be a pain in the ass if you don't have the tool, unless you have strong fore arms. Also, fitting a torque wrench for midpipe to muffler will be difficult due to poor design.

Good luck. Pretty straight forward bolt on/off. I reused both my OEM gaskets, but I only had 1500 miles before I swapped. No leaks so far.
I was cheap and didn't want to buy special tools. I used channel lock pliers (only ones that could open wide enough) instead of an exhaust hangar removal tool. Grip the tip of the exhaust hangar, and the back of the rubber bushing and squeeze. Comes out with slight wiggling.

I am only concerned now, because I bought OEM midpipe to muffler gasket (2 bolt set up), and it looks like the TRD flange setup is three bolts.

Will a wider mid pipe make it louder by chance?

Don't know. But the TRD uses stock piping size. I know the Perrin 3 inch is louder than the 2.5, so I would assume so.

Unfortunately, TRD D-tip exhaust uses pipes with smaller inner diameter than even the stock exhaust.

This may not neccissarily be a bad thing, while in theory yes, smaller diameter means more restrictions, it also means the exhaust gasses stay hotter, which may mean a negligible difference if the gasses are moving faster because of the increased heat.
