Well the hard point is they have already set the allocated stocked for the next 2-3 years . So toy aus might try and make the most of it by having a higher price. ( and loose their customers loyal to the Toyota brand ) or maybe not.

If they want this model in Australia as a affordable sports car you will have alot of change for goodies.

I was assured of this and nothing's changed yet, 11hrs or less we will know.

I have ears on the ground in Canberra atm and the millisecond the embargo finishes I/we will know.

Now stop thinking and head to bed.

Just curious about your market down there. Do you also deal with dealers who markup or have "market adjustment" pricing? So that if Toyota does come out with a reasonable MSRP, you end up getting hosed by the dealers?

Dealer markup is illegal in Australia.

The official drive away price is the maximum they can charge.

Embargo will probably end at 10am tomorrow....

I'm not too concerned. However i have had enough thinking about this for months. It will happen when it happens. Off to sleep now.

Lol you said it wrong again. They can't charge more then rrp+orc for each state.
