Total Noob Questions
Hi!
So this is my first 'real' car I've ever messed with. I have no idea about wheels or anything. I tried reading up in the directory and Q&A but I'm still confused. Here's what I'm trying to do: I would like to make the wheels protrude more aka I need a spacer. But I don't want to install longer studs, so I was thinking bolt on spacers, right? Are they 5x120 stock or 5x114.3? I am using the stock wheels and want to make them stick out a little bit past flush (or is that dumb?) and would like to use muteki open lugs. What spacers do I need and am I able to use muteki 12x1.25s? Thanks! |

Stock wheels/hubs are 5x100. Everything you're looking for can be found with quick google searches.

I love how instead of answering, people insist on replying with a joke or something.
Yes, you would get spacers. They sell 5x100 spacers. The stock wheels are +48 offset. From what I hear +35 is flush in front and +30 in back so maybe 15mm and 20mm spacers? Though it would look a bit funny to have skinny width wheels that wide apart. I mean the flushness/poke would look nice, but from behind it would look like 0--------0 |

This is quoted from the first article in my attached link. "I've seen most are recommending 20mm front and 25mm for rear with the stock rims." Your suggestion would be more sunk in than that. The OP wants POKE, so I was letting him read and decide how much he wanted to go. |

@Rifle - These guys were doing 20mm front and 25mm rear that worked a treat. You could contact them on their website here as I reckon if you don't want different sizes front and rear then 25mm all around would be better and I can't see the 25mm ones on their website. http://www.corner3garage.com/V3-Spac...ore_p_471.html
I got these ones but you'll probably want to find a USA supplier unless these guys will ship to you cheap. http://www.redlineperformance.co.nz/...-5-x-100-25mm/ You will want to ensure you get 5x100 in whatever thickness you decide and look for 56.1mm bore so they fit your FR-S hub perfectly.
