Thank you for this common sense comment. I have a set of both MY13 and MY 15 struts sitting in my workshop at the moment, and they are different (damping). I have springs from both an MY 13 and an MY 15 sitting in my workshop at the moment and they are identical. BRZ/FR-S/GT86 all have different springs on the same dampers - this has been proven over and over again. I'm currently running STI springs on my Toyota GT86 on Bilstein B6 (Previously on the stock shocks) I wish people would read some of the stickies before commenting. |

I wound up installing an Eibach Pro-Kit with a friend on my 2015 BRZ.

So I'm looking to get aftermarket springs for my 2015 FR-S and it seems like most of them were designed for the 13-14 model years.
The ones I want are the Tanabe GF210 since they have a very minimal drop of .6" front and .9" rear (My splitter already scrapes a lot and I can't really go much lower since I'll be driving it in the winter) and slightly higher spring rates (stiffer but still DDable). My first question is will these work well with the updated 2015 stock struts? And will they actually be any stiffer than stock? There doesn't seem to be a consensus as to whether or not the 2015 FR-S stock springs are stiffer than 13-14. Any advice is appreciated. |
