These are the parts I've tried:

TRD Exhaust - Too much drone - SOLD
TRD Intake - Better throttle response, looks OEM - Loved it so much I got a TRD Intake for my FJ Cruiser as well.
TRD Door Stabilizers - These things work. They aren't cheap.
TRD Strut Brace - Very nice piece. At least 2x the price of a cheaper brand. Looks awesome. Seemed to calm the front end down.
JDM (can't remember if these are TRD) Knee Pad / Speaker Surrounds - Look nice but not functional.
TRD Underbody Brace Kit - Sitting in a box in my garage

ps. I had the K&N Panel Filter... I felt that the TRD Intake gave me better throttle response. I really like rev matching/Heel-Toeing and it matters a lot there.

I also would advise against FI if you cannot diagnose issues and work on the car yourself.

There have been a few modders that have achieved 200WHP with bolt ons and 93 octane tunes. As most stock twins only do about 155-170 WHP that is a pretty healthy gain. That is the route I would follow.

Drop in filter w/ modded snorkel
Crawford power blocks
EL Header
3" exhaust from header back w/ high flow cat
ECUTek
Quality tune from Delicious
Lightweight flywheel
Lightweight wheels
4.56 FD conversion

I think that would result in a pretty quick and reliable car.

Before you make up your mind, read a lot of the mod threads on this site. Also take a look at the For Sale section and note how many FI cars are for sale on there. Ask yourself why that would be.
This. Pretty much sums up the NA build I'm going for. Most of these options won't effect warranty and they nicely expand on the cars existing strengths without spoiling it.

Not JDM or TRD. Just plain old 2014+ stock FRS pads. They do help reduce the speaker rattle though.

For those with the TRD intake, have you maf scaled? I installed mine on Sunday, driving feels fine. Monitoring so far, IAM is 1, LTFT seems to be 7% on initial start, and about 3.5 while cruising

I would get the TRD exhaust, but I just can't stand the shape of the tips. Is it possible to switch out the tips for a rounder OEM look? Also, is it possible to add a K&N air filter into a TRD CAI? I really want to get all the TRD dealer add-ons just because of the warranty.

Thanks for the info about the engine not being that great with FI. I have plans to mostly use the car for DD and the occasional weekend spirited driving.

Absolutely no drone with the JDM TRD quad tip exhaust. Could be an option rather than the USA one

Had you considered the JDM TRD exhaust rather than the USA TRD one?

I actually prefer the USA trd one more because it's more subtle looking. This looks too 'look at me' or 'm3' style- especially since our cars aren't the most powerful cars out there, I just think it's a bit over the top

Yeah, each to their own. Personally I think the smaller dual tips of the TRD and on cars like the Golf R are more subtle and less look at me than big single tips that many have on their cars. Even the stock single tips are pretty big.
