Looks are subjective.

I do agree with a few people on here that they look ugly in pictures but when I saw a couple in person I thought it looked pretty sharp.

I have too much fun hooning my 86 to consider trading it in >_>

Too me, a car needs to have looks and be a good car overall.

The Subaru is a good car, but it looks bad.

It's like me buying a suit....I won't buy a suit if it's ugly even though it's hugo boss.

You guys are getting so butt hurt over my "fugly" comment. Car is ugly...stop crying to me about it.
Dude you could have had a much nicer looking car than an 86 for your money if looks were that important.... I like the looks of the BRZ/FR-S but there is no doubt that they could have made it look better and got a little conservative...

& one more thing, people compare the new sti to the corolla.....the new corolla blows this car in regards to looks.

Sure it's not fast and performance oriented, but at least you can be seen in public with it.

Still want a sti? Buy the real thing!

Why are you still here spouting your same bullshit.

GTFO.

But some people compare the frs to a minivan.

Why not get the real thing?

But if I were to go into a thread saying the FRS is a POS and ugly as hell ect... I would be called a troll. So how is it any different? I know this is a frs/brz/gt86 forum but still it's unnecessary.
OK you win this one! Went from opinion to troll in a hurry.

Who the hell compares these two vehicles? The term is "slower" than a minivan not the "same" as a minivan. And even that isn't true and you know it. You gonna let one guy push you into FunButSlow mode?

I'll admit I never ever liked a Subaru design period. But it's mainly because of my bias to low slung, sleek, sports-car like styling which Subaru was more known for rugged boxy designs. I'm thankful Toyota was in charge of styling on the 86 platform and Subaru in charge of everything else. I always said I would never buy a Subaru ever but lo and behold I'm practically driving one with styling I actually love. Never say Never!

Actually, I was just trying to show him how stupid his comparison was. I in no way think the Corolla is like a WRX, just like I don't think the FR-S is in any way like a minivan
