This is very misleading and should really be edited or deleted from the forum as it is dangerous advice as is.

@JG If you aren't dead yet from hitting something at speed, it's obvious from your questions and responses you haven't done brake work before.

TAKE THE CAR TO A PROFESSIONAL.

I'm not dead yet. My brakes seemed to be functioning fine. I think i didn't lubricate the correct spots maybe? I only applied a fine layer on the BACK of the brake pads.

I suggest you tow your car to a mechanic and get the brakes properly serviced. (if you are seriously asking that question, I highly suggest you do not put your car on the road until a mechanic looks at your brakes, peoples lives could be at risk)
I didn't do anything complex. I did not lube the rotor FYI.

You can check if it's a wheel bearing, by jacking up the car and trying to move the wheel/tire in a "camber in/out" motion. It shouldn't move, but if the wheel bearing is bad, it will move. Here is more information on how to check.

I haven't had to do anything to the e-brake drum system before, but I'm sure you can find out what to investigate by looking through the service manual.

If you don't feel comfortable, or don't have the right tools. Take it somewhere to have them look at it.
Thank you! i will try this tonight when i get home.

Pad slapping, i.e. just swapping pads without refinishing the rotors. It's a bad idea because the pads don't really bed in properly.

Also of note is did you regrease the slides? Could have a slide sticking.

Did you put the pad wear indicator where the old pad was? This or the pad retainer springs/slides, the metal part where the top and bottom of the pad touch the caliper. You put the pad retainers in wrong or bend them they usually scrape along the edge of the rotor not the surface. Check the edges of your rotors, if they look nice and clean then that the side, or sides, that is the issue. Also grease the pins, and retainers with high temp brake parts grease.

Refinishing the rotors? I followed the DUI on the forums and I didn't know there was something else i needed to do with the rotors. I regreased the slides and everything that seemed to be a contact point to the back of the pads.

I should of checked for the top of the pads today. If they still retain the sound I will probably just end up taking it to the shop.

Just to throw a closure on this post. Yesterday I didn't get any unpleasant sound from the brakes. I lubed the back of the brakes as well as the sides and corners and that seemed to have done the trick. Thank you to all who posted for spending time out of your day to list possible issues.
