Wheel Directory: XXR 527 18"

Hey!

I have very big issue with my head im so confused what size would be right to my car. I still want it to be daily drive car and drive it without rubbing anywhere.

Specs what I have thinked:

Wheel: XXR 527 18" 8-9,5" offset?
Suspension: BC Racing BR
Tires: Front:225-235/30-40 Rear:225-245/30-40

That what makes it difficult is that roads in here "cold ass" finland are so bad so I dont want much stretch the tire on the wheel but still that concavity is welcome as much I would get.


DarrenDriven´s car looked pretty awesome but that stretch bit too much for me here Im gonna blow up them or the wheels.

If you are lowered on coilovers you can go as big as 18x9.5 +40 with a 255/35 tire no rub like im set up. Obviously you need negative camber in the rear to make that work but the rear generates about -3 degrees of camber when you drop it around an inch so youll have no rub. Up front I could run 0 camber and have no rub.

SO, if you are looking at smaller sizes of wheels and tires then you are set to put them on without rub. The coilovers give you tons of space. A buddy of mine is running 18x10 +40 with 255/35 and he had small rub in the rear but it went away quickly. Hope this helps!

What you think about the setup of Front: 18x8,75 +35 and Rear: 18x9.5 +40 would this be good because I think that 235 tire in front is biggest I want there and maybe 245 or 255 rear....

And maybe that 9,5 wont stretch much that 255 and the concavity is better. But is the 9,5 much that weighty than 8,75?(just thinking about the performance and daily driving?)

I have hunter alignment tool but what I did mean about "stock alignment" was can I keep it so I dont need to put over -2 camper front or -3 on rear to fit wheels. Im thinking to setup it to the stock factory settings or as close I could with these new wheels.

First: 18x8.75 front and 18x9.5 rear will fit no problem as long as you are on coilovers. The tire size is also up to you. 235 front 255 rear is an easy fit.

Second: [For reference in how the camber would look and also how low you may be going in comparison to me.] My camber in the top picture is -0.5 front -1.25 rear. My ride height in the rear was higher back then compared to how it is now. I've since increased the front camber to flush it up more. And remember im 18x9.5 +40 255/35 all around. In my opinion the camber is quite minimal. Not OEM specs but nothing to fret over unless your are trying to be perfectly flush.

Third: Instead of the Whiteline camber kit something around the same price I'd suggest are these for rear camber adjustment. These rear arms will give you much more room to adjust camber. That whiteline kit gives you +/- 0.75 degrees of camber. That WONT be enough for you if you want to get back to OEM alignment specs. I'm clearly not slammed but I still generated about -3 camber in the rear. The SPC arms give you about +/-2 degrees of camber.http://www.ft86speedfactory.com/spc-...e-kit-891.html
