For DD save yourself hassle and money and stick to springs. I have the RSRs and am very happy with them on my 3,500 mile a month DD.

Weathertech floor mats & Track time.

Any other "performance mods" PRIOR to taking it out on the track is just bling, plain and simple.

I'm not sure if by upgrade you mean a boost to performance, or just any modification.

The first mod I did was Rally Armor mud flaps for extra protection, and to avoid a lot of nasty spray on the sides of my car as it rains a lot here; I added gloss black caps with washers to cover the screws

Almost in conjunction with that I got the car opti-coated; I struggled with putting a good chunk of money towards that for "protection" versus spending that money on the fun stuff, but I have no regrets about that choice now.

For performance - I did the Apexi drop in filter about two months after owning the car

First mod

Plugged the sound tube hole in the passenger foot well with the 12v plug from the outlet in the glovebox.

Priceless.

Toyota badges, silicon induction hose with noise tube delete, and a panel filter. I had the parts by the time she had been delivered.

-Plugged the hole for the noise generator.
-TRD Exhaust to make it sound great
-K&N drop-in filter just to breath slightly better, as CAI systems don`t seem to do much on this platform for the money it costs

He's also older than Father Time, so you know the RSRs have to be good in terms of comfort...
