So I've had my turbo for roughly 5k miles. I have the k&n air filter on there and its already torn up from the a/c line. Has anyone found a good alternative?

Seems like overboost is a common factor here...since I am also overboosting on my EBCS.
@drambo136 - have you tried repositioning it? Mine clears the ABS. It does sit slightly on the washer fluid neck though, but just barely.

i'm still overboosting on wastegate pressure. And I have my tune set up for flex fuel and boost based on ethanol. All of that goes out the window if I run WG pressure.

Ohhhh lol wasn't aware it was based off ethanol %. I wanna do that so bad lol. I know u probably already checked it but is the other port on the WG still blocked off. I was overboosting at one point and it was because the bolt came a little loose

the top port is VTA, the rest are all sealed besides the one that goes to the EBCS. But I will double check, thanks

I gave up on mine. I was going to try just running the wastegate spring with the EBCS unhooked but I get a dtc for the purge valve. I just make sure I don't floor it and don't rev past 5k. Really sweet for a turbo kit. Haha.

Running like they suggested with the boost creep, I get knock and my iam never goes above 0.7x ok either high or low boost. And my afr is mid 12's on 91.

I'm going to call it a $1000 dollar loss and take it somewhere locally for the tune. Well 650 since I'd have to buy the license wherever I take it.

was the advance multiplier drop from being in boost or during partial throttle non boost conditions? (it makes a difference). mid 12's AFR is definitely not good. Which BOV revision do you have? (Where is the BOV located).

We did see photos below. We are currently having our machine shop make the brackets

I also did a log of just cruising - the multiplier there was 0.73 the entire time. Shortly after I did the pulls.

My high boost pull started at 0.71 and looks like it dropped to 0.67 once I built boost. AFR's never dropped below 12. Average the pull was 12.3.

Low boost showed 0.71 multiple the entire time. AFR's were high 11.9x to low 12.1.

BOV is on the driver side.

Post once you have the brackets and ducting made. I'm curious what it looks like. I think the way it is currently mounted with air flow coming in the fog hole and out the fender liner (I haven't made the back vent yet) would work better. But that set up looks like it has some room behind for exiting air. Depending how the front air ducts go.

Also will you offer any upgrades for those who got the kit before the new mounting? I'm still on the fence if I want it the new way or the old way.
