I just wanted to add here, as I couldn't see it in the OP at a quick scan.
When MAF scaling, ensure you remove any data when the coolant temp is below 70C (160F) as fueling compensations are active and will skew data. If you don't log coolant temp, then don't log until at least 5 minutes of actual driving. Hint: Log coolant temp

OTS scales are quite lumpier than stock. I smoothed the OTS scales for MT, richening up where they're lean on Stg1 and leaning up where they're rich on Stg2. AT (lumpy again) vs MT (smooth) for petrol. Smoothed scale vs NT1 for E85 and AT1 for E85. |

So if I cannot get my MAF Voltage to read data off my OpenFlash Tablet, I'm pretty screwed until Shiv updates their software, correct? My current file is D00D

you could probably do the open loop ie higher end of scale manually using afr and commanded afr |

if your fuel trims on stage 1 tune maf scaling are only +3% to +5% throught the rpm range that good also log commamded afr and afr and see if they match throughout a full throttle run. if they do then thats good as well. I looked at a guy with mishimto intake and it was pretty close to stock scaling maf wise, for his maf sensor anyway, you might be close as well. if your fuel trims are max 5% and afr and commanded afr follow each other pretty well you could try copying the stage1 maf scaling into the stage2 map. This will make the stage 2 map run LEANER than intended but oft tunes tend to run on the rich side. If your on good 93 fuel you may be able to do this. again check for knock and check the fuel trims and that commanded afr and actual afr are following each other on wot runs. if that looks ok then fine, if the afr and commanded afr dont follow you can still ise the vgi tool to do the open loop maf scaling to correct that as it just needs ltft commanded and actual afr and your ol fuel table. then if its all still ok try the mishimoto intake if its same type as the guy i did they are prety close to stock maf scaling wise, you might have to tough up the ol maf scale again. it wont be ideal without doing the closed loop scaling but if trims are only 5% that probably good enough untill you get the extra logging |

Gotcha. So I need to hit three WOT for openloop first instead of closeloop, which should get me the MAF scale I need without the MAF Voltage working, right? What's the best way to get three good WOT?

Can someone point me in the direction of a MAF scaling utility that will work with RR and my .csv files from OFT?
The one your link goes to Steve99 won't take my .csv files. I'm consistantly running under 12 AFR from 4K to redline. My logs look exactly like Wayno's "Type 3" MAF sensor examples. http://datazap.me/u/mgpaxman/runup-m...8-213&mark=184 Last edited by MGPAX; 07-26-2015 at 12:38 AM. |

the bit that says proceed log, ie all lines above column headers leave just the headers ie the rpm, load, maf v ect and data and it work fine |
