Long overdue update! I've swapped the turbo over to BRZ #2 and I'm now working on upgrading my PTuning turbo kit to the V2 components. Most notably; the GTX2867R upgrade!
These two videos talk about the reasoning of switching to another BRZ and how the kit has held up over 30,000 miles. I also have some other things to complete in time besides the turbo upgrade like putting on my AP Racing Sprint breaks up front as well as some other minor changes. Stay tuned! Enjoyed the videos, glad to see things are holding up well. I have experienced the same "minor" issues with the anti roll bar bushing and turbo elbow. Fortunately Ptuning has some solutions they make available for us.
Look forward to the gt28 result, I have been considering this as well. Are the new overpipes lighter or heavier than the V1? |

They are certainly thicker and the V1. I beleive they are heavier but I don't have a scale to measure. I'm good with thicker/heavier to trap in that heat. The cobra intake coupler and the new overpipe have great clearance according to PTuning so I'm pumped about that.
