Yeah I've learned that I need bigger brakes. It's planned. I just don't know which big brake kit to go for yet.

Winmax W4's, stock rotors/calipers, stainless steel braided lines.

The Winmax guy that was at the track measured the temps after I pulled off the track, 290 up front and 220 in the rear I believe.

Finally finished the strut tower braces that clear the 4" PTuning turbo intake pipe.

Got my header and turbo pipes back from ceramic coating. Two coats.

Can't wait to get the car back together and fire it up!

Wow those pieces look sweet.

Side note and forgive me if you have mentioned. Being you're in Cali are you running any additives or just straight 91 for most part.

The Ptuning kit is very very nice just not sure with my crap gas also 91 makes this the kit to go with. I see you use 101 for race days but not certain of your thoughts of the kits power and driveability on 91?

91 is not that much worse than 93 according to my tuner. It is slightly more prone to knock of course, but with a good tuner it can be tuned right. I use pump gas for street and it performs just fine. Boost is set to a comfortable 8psi on 91. Anymore and the timing has to be altered to reduce knock, which ends up making the same power so it is pointless to go higher boost. I've honestly never heard knock in my car, ever.

I use 100 for track days to maintain the power. I raise the boost at this octane as well. If 100 is not available I'll use a can of Torco which seems to help, but certainly not anywhere as good as pure 100.

I'm considering water/meth in the near future as it will be cheaper in the long run, rather than refilling 100 at the track every time which is $10.00 USD a gallon. Race gas cost adds up quick.

I'm not really sure. Maybe +20 whp on a mustang dyno. Not really concerned about making a lot more power. Consistency, reliability, heat management are my focus :-)

I will have dyno numbers though, once the tune is redialled.

PTuning header installed and it sounds better than I imagined in the higher rev range. Can't comment on power yet as I'm still re-tuning. Only a couple more mods coming in until I call my build complete. More track videos to come soon. Also will be getting another dyno chart once my re-tune is complete.

Exhaust sounds with the PTuning header now on.

Any brake set thoughts yet?

ps. I just ordered the same Rota wheel setup, but will be going with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires as my car is a daily driver.

Oh man this thread is due for a big update! I'll get to it next weekend.

I've since switched to Toyo R888 tires and I enjoy them much more than the Yokohama A048 tires. As for brakes my Winmax W4 pads just ran out at my last track event so I have already purchased the AP Racing Spring kit. As for pads, either the RC6 or the 999's depending on availability before Laguna Seca in May. I'm still rocking the PTuning red stainless lines and Torque RT700 fluid.

For daily driving street pads are just fine. If you track then definitely upgrade at least the compound, lines and fluid.

Can't wait for the update. My car is currently at ptuning getting everything installed I was going to upload pictures on the ptuning turbo kit thread but my service kinda sucks and the images are too big.

I've been to GMR once with the crew but I haven't received an invite since then. I would be up for going again, keep me in the loop.
