20 years old, clean record. 500 dollar deductible with state farm with full coverage. 135. If I wanted a 2007 fj cruiser, about 100 a month. Any v6 mustang or camaro, around 200 a month. Can't even afford to think of a v8. I'm somewhat happy at anything under 150. My folks still believe I'm getting ripped off.

$80 a month. 100k/300k, full coverage with roadside and rental reimburse, $500 deductible with geico. Age =34, no kids just spouse (31) in household. But we both are professionals and are both government employees so we get a lot of discounts through geico (Government Employees Insurance Co). Central California.

This thread is more meaningless because geographical location plays an enormous role in car insurance rates.

I can't help it if I stare at pedestrians! Pretty girl = must gawk until you feel awkward.

Guess my anime fetish mobile won't come to light! (Stuffed animal thing is common sense, though people still do it)

It's also meaningless without knowing the poster's age, gender, address, driving record, claims history and how many cars he or she has insured. Most of these threads are total bullshit that serve no purpose whatsoever.

So with all that in mind, I pay $316.64. PER YEAR.

That reminds me of the time I was looking to insure my first 600CC motorcycle. On my own policy, insurance company wanted 11.5k per year. Yes, eleven and a half thousand per year. I went to daddy and asked very nicely if he would be the primary rider as far as insurance was concerned, he said yes, and my rate went down to 600 per year, yes, six hundred.

That shit doesn't make sense, but it is what it is. Things like that make it clear why so many people commit insurance fraud to get cheaper insurance.

Though I do have sunglasses. Also perfect when you want to see if people are checking out your car. I do find that if I have them on, people seem to stare longer compared to when they can see my eyes. Fun experiment.

I just got a quote for my 2016, $1,600 full coverage. Ahh New Jersey home of the most lawyers per mile and the highest property and insurance rates. Gotta love to hate it.

I'm paying slightly more per year (after exchange rate). 23, no tickets and one not at fault accident. It's not all bad. I think my premium jumped about 150-200 after I bought this car. I came from a 2001 Mazda 626 V6, so I thought that was very reasonable.

I am almost 27 now, with a clean record and my insurance is still around 1800 a year. Consider yourself lucky lol
Pshh... when I was 17 I bought a crappy new neon sxt and that thing was just under $5,000/year to insure for the first 2 years, a little over $400/month and on my parents plan in central NJ (150/350/150 UM100/300 with $500/$500 deductibles). My insurance was more than double the monthly payments on the thing... I could lease and insure a Porsche Cayman for what I was paying for that shit neon the first year...

I have the same coverage here in Madison, WI at 27 with a defensive driving course and clean record and I am at $896 a year. For the same as my monthly rate at 17, I get half a year of insurance for me and my wife.

I called insurance when I was shopping for a car and the difference between the FR-S, BRZ, 370z, and WRX were all within $40/year. Once you are over 25 your insurance will drop like a rock and it doesn't really matter what car you buy at that point. My wife's Nissan Rogue costs more to insure than my FR-S.

Thread #134981249010414 started regarding this.

-Insurance rates differ from person to person.
-Best way to compare is to get a quote for both vehicles for yourself.

Do you really only have 10/20/10 or is it 100/200/100? If so, I have never seen coverage that low! And in Florida...
