Has anyone brought their car to the dealer with the ESC installed? I am doing my 30K maintenance (nothing is wrong with car) and I have 33K miles so warranty is almost over. I don't think anything can go wrong but feels weird bringing a car to a dealer with mods on.

Now that I'm rocking a 2015 BRZ instead of my 2013 FRS we did a fresh install from scratch! This latest kit that Rob has put together is the easiest yet(revision 2). The new ETX16 plus oddessy battery array is so simple to install and wire compared to the old 1.5 conversion...this alone is a huge leap forward. Rob and I took about a hour from start to finish while talking about all the new stuff and things to try in the future.

So what got installed?

Matte black TQ250 compressor housing with a new larger billet aluminum impeller. The billet wheel allows for Rob to expand the size and thus increase top end boost to where it would be with the TQ300, all while maintaining the boost response of the tq250. This new setup is completely experimental at the moment and obviously doing a large billet wheel like this does increase the cost a bit. No figures yet on price or availability but if this trial goes well it could be a option. For the future this electric motor is watercooled....the cooling itself is not up and running yet but is something that could be added in he future.

Right now I am running the standard off and on switch for 90 percent engagement while we wait for the procede unit to come in from Shiv.

The last things that was changed on this kit are some different connectors on the wiring harness we provide a better more reliable connection.

In the limited drivering I have done today I can say that this is by far the fastest spooling and smoothest boosting experience yet. The extra large billet wheel appears to be creating about 5 psi down low tappering to 2.9-2.5 between 7k and 7.5k. This should be enough for us to make about 220 who on 93.....Rob is looking to book a dyno session soon so we will have concrete numbers soon.

Other than above all I can say is it is damn nice to have this boost back, my car is alive again and its all thanks to Rob and Phantom making electric superchargers that deliver!

Incredible work with some really great ideas on improving the top end without asking for more power. Rob knows his airflow chit, no doubt. Also watercooled motor + Procede = win! Sign me up for the next stage of upgrades/testing/whatever. I'm absolutely loving my kit, the performance, and this R&D process. Thanks @fenton and @Robftss

It really looks slick. and you guys are making it really hard to upgrade. Every time I think about saying "to hell with it", a new tweak, update, or mod comes out telling me I better wait till this is available before I commit...rinse and repeat

This is why I'm still waiting instead buying someone's used one. Hopefully just a few more months. I signed up near the end of September, 2 more months will make it a year. Water cooling. Wow. I hope I get the new impeller too.

The hesitant buyers made me wonder about queuing.

Let's say I went on the list today, one year later my kit is ready but I decide I want/need to wait (want next revision/need more money), am I holding on to second place? Or am I dropped to the bottom or removed entirely?

Then it moves on to the next person on the list.

I brought mine to the dealer with the ESC installed to get my transmission replaced. (way back when). I'm good buds with the service manager and he told me he didn't care what kind of FI I put on the car because we both agreed it is underpowered.
Well, I didn't know it but the Toyota service rep had to confirm that my transmission really was bad. So they took it for a ride and both agreed that the Phantom was really cool.
But if I was you, I wouldn't take a chance and just remove it.

I always just take the compressor section off. Other than that just tuck the 3 wires that connect to the electric motor in the corner and shut your arming switch off....some people tuck the arming switch away just so there isnt any questions.
