Are there really only 2-3 people out there on the forums running the JDL kit?

I thought this kit was popular. Maybe not as popular as the AVO, but why don't we see more of it?

It's weird it isn't. The layout these guys use is better than some. Mine will arrive in a week or so.

I know the guys at JDL and they make good stuff.... The quality is there I would say go for it if you like their style of kit. MAP makes a good kit along with Spencer Fab. There is so many choices in turbo kits now that just about everyone has got the bugs out of their kit. So bottom line is:
1: do your homework and find a kit that fits your build
2: Call the manufacture talk to them ask about their setup, parts required to make it work "CORRECTLY" and warranty
3: When you get a warm and fuzzy pull the trigger and get it.

Good luck

Dang. I'll have to buy it way before I'm prepared to install it then.

the only difference is the divided housing and the money difference is in the manifold. its not 1.5 times more or anything, just the manifold costs more.

The manifold is divided into 2 running tubes rather than one, like a single scroll kit. The divided housing looks like this:

the manifold will look like this:

the manifold is designed to run one pulse of air a slightly shorter or longer time between the other pulse of air from the engine thus creating a smoother and faster spool of the turbo.

I just think mine took awhile to Fab up cause I wanted a lot of Custom stuff added to mine, I think a regular kit should come 1-2 months sooner then mine did. It also depends on their workload at the time.

I'd be getting a bunch of custom stuff as well, not the standard kit.

Waiting on the addition of the oil cooler for the kit.
