First86 here. The original Whiteout AT assigned to me was in the 300's, but after discovering a paint blemish on the hood, they swapped it out w/ one whose VIN broke 1000. While it would be cool to have kept the lower number, I actually feel a bit better regarding the build quality of my later-manufactured car. It means that hopefully any early kinks in the assembly process got ironed out.

Last 3 of VIN is 286... but I have a BRZ. Not sure if this applies to this thread.

That being said, it was pretty damn cool to see '86' as the last 2 numbers of my VIN.

US BRZ 195 here. I'm not convinced the sequential numbers are per transmission. The digit after the year(D) is plant code not transmission.

Now if only it would show up. :P BRZs east of me have been delivered.

Ive got Vehicle #500, manf date of March something (forgot, but its on the door jamb somewhere) which is cool enough for me.
