Update after my first track day with the JRSC. Everything worked as expected, no issues whatsoever. No lost fluid, belt issues or overheating. This system appears bullet proof!

I was running 4000-7000 RPM all day without a hiccup! though I did average only 11MPG on the track, ha ha!

The power is amazing. I am back to equal lap times to my prior car (heavily track modified 2005 GTO 500 HP, I spent over five years dialing that car in at this track)

With some better tires I should be even faster. I am currently on MPSS.

Hats off to Jackson Racing for developing such a great kit!

howdy folks. just had the JRSC installed recently. is it a typical occurence for the lower rpms (1500-2400ish) to feel sluggish? In fact the very first time I drove the car with the SC on it, I noticed that I had to give it more gas upon launch because it started to stall with my normal throttle / right foot habit. seems like something is "holding it back", and that it is not as smooth or "sensitive to input" as NA in the lower rpms. feels like i can't be as gentle with the throttle

that being said this is my second day with the SC on so lol, just my observation. mike @ moto east didn't have time to put me on the dyno, so right now I'm running his base tune I'm presuming from another JRSC customer. told me to street log it which i have to learn how to do

P.S.: i also had the dual catch can radium setup installed

1500-2400 from a stop or any gear?
Mine isn't like that for either.

from a stop it requires more gas and feels like its willing to stall more easily; in gear it feels like it revs less freely at those low rpms

Not normal. If you have the opportunity, see if you can find someone local with the CARB tune. It should drive and feel stronger than stock in any condition

Anybody simply running Delicious Tunings's flash 'n' go tune with their 11 psi map sensor with both cats still in place? they claim about 10 more hp/tq to the wheels. how does it feel?

when i had their tune on my car NA they advanced a hell of a lot of timing or something in the torque dip and it sounded so rattly like the heads were going to explode from 3k-4k lol (to my untrained ear) still it wasn't the greatest noise.

planning on getting rid of the cats towards the end of the year as well but wanna get a different tune soon.

My oil cooler came in yesterday. Anybody that received the sc kit but no cooler it's on its way! And of course part night at work I was told I'd be working Sat. So no install this weekend.

thanks all for your observations. it definitely does not feel or drive stronger than stock at low rpms, IMO. I'll do some street logs and send them off to Mike @ Motoeast and hopefully with some data we'll smooth things out.

Speaking of which Mike and his full time tech did an excellent job on the install; everything is nice and secure
