Not at all! I'd post the graph myself but I'm lazy and there's no scanner within ten feet of me.

Sincerely,

Zach

Take a pic of the dyno with your cellphone. If you have a Samsung phone, set your photo mode to 'best photo' mode.... takes like 8 pics in 2 seconds and it chooses the best quality one.

Which PTP turbo blanket did you order for the SBD kit?

He sold this kit awhile back for $2500. I almost bought it but some guy beat me to it. Not sure he was as impressed as he was hoping with the results.

I see. I really feel the kit is a decent baseline for the price. I plan some modifications to the kit, but I would ultimately like to run it at 14 Psi on E85. I am going to look into throwing a larger air filter in there with some air ducting, porting the wastegate, and I am going to see if the exhaust manifold and exhaust housing can be smoothed out any while I already have everything torn apart with a die grinder in my hands. I am really hoping that Velox can make that intake manifold a reality too. With all of these changes and the cost of tuning though, I would rather complete as many of them at once as I can and pay less for tuning rather than piece it together over a couple of years and pay 2-3 times the cost for tuning.

Yeah, custom tuning adds up! As for the SBD kit it is one hell of a value. The only issues I have heard of so far are mainly related to boost creep, due the rough turbo design, which can be smoothed out. Other than that I know some people have been having problems with random CEL's but that is not for sure because of the kit. Could be poor install/tune related/other non turbo related issues.

SBD Kit checking in, I'm currently running 7PSI on E85 on a tune I made myself (using Shiv's 93 OFT SBD tune as a base). I've yet to hop on a dyno but I'm running some really conservative timing so probably pushing ~240whp right now. I pulled a 2015 STi with a good driver on 10psi 93oct, so for the price I'd say this is a decent little kit. The only slight change I made to it was wrapping the last cold side pipe with some gold heat reflectant tape, which actually dropped my inlet air temps by as much as 10F at highway cruise.

That's impressive. Wouldn't be surprised with the base wrx at those power levels but and sti is pretty impressive, although there is a pretty big weight difference. How many miles on the kit?

The first night we did a few pulls with me at 7PSI and with a passenger (extra 110lbs or ~50kg) and he'd consistently pull me by a car or so. At 10PSI with no passenger it was a much different story .

7k miles on the kit and counting. I drive it around 70 miles per day so it's adding up quick.
