Got my second hand OFT yesterday and downloaded the latest OTS tunes on to the device. Then in my infinite wisdom I loaded up the wrong CAL .bin file (B00 vs B001) for 93 Stage 1.

Dumb question I think, but safe to say I should be flashing back to stock until I can load the proper CAL file at home? Im not sure what the differences are between them all and my google-fu wasn't much help.

I drove to work on this file and it was only when I got here and started playing with the 'Info' section of the OFT that I realized the error.

No need to do anything its all good.

OFT will not let you load/flash incorrect calid, it knows your original calid

Read the first post.
OFT V2xxx tunes are based on latest compatible rom for your car in your case stock rom would be B00C/D so OFT will only let you load the B00C/D rom however this tune will actually be based on the B01C/D rom so you get latest factory revision plus the tune enhancements

Thanks Steve - I saw the note in that 1st post and I think I'm just being overly cautious since it's my first go-around. I've always managed to find new ways to work around even the most idiot-proof systems

EDIT: A response in 10 minutes at 7:10AM. Talk about service!!

Its normal to get P050B after making cold start mods, just disablec it with romraider

P0462 indicates you may have problems with the fuel level sender in tank check \clean plugs on sender or replace sener unit. should be covered under warantee

hmm everything was fine until stage two tune came on. maybe oft fried it? or just a confusion? possible to be a batch of bad gas? after a fillup the code came on.

P0462 is a hardware issue nothing to do with tune

P050B you will need to disable else it will keep coming back its cold start ignition performance due to quiet start mods, disable it and flash new tune that will also reset ecu and clear the other code, if the P0462 keeps coming back then it likely their is a problem with fuel tank sender unit.
