I'm not willing to say how I obtained this, nor will I reveal my sources, but I found their preliminary dyno test results on the manifold. @NotEric6 sorry to be the leak, but I couldn't hold this back any longer.

NotEric6: I sometimes wonder if angling/splitting on other side wouldn't be better/straighter for airflow. As in - shorten intake tube, so that common tube fits and can split in front of cylinders, so that airflow is turned only 45deg, not as of now, when it's split/turned 145deg. Think of mounting this manifold backwards with splitter re-welded other way around. May cause fitment issues .. but intake manifold plastic tube should be easy to shorten, no?

Custom? Yes. But as i see load of aftermarket intake tubes for $100, it should be easy to sawn off from some to fit or design own of needed length at similar price level. Much cheaper/simpler, then main manifold metallic part design/manufacture.

It probably has more to do with the volume of air than how straight the path is. The airflow will have to make a quick right angle turn anyways to go down the horns, so it doesn't really matter which direction the right angle comes from.

Exactly, volume of the plenum is critically important.
