Started installing the oil pressure gauge this evening.

Originally intended to put the gauge in the galley port like many others here, but ran in to a bit of a snag.

The pressure sender butts up against the throttle body wire harness. I'm not a huge fan of putting extra stress into wires (or fluid connectors for that matter) so I opted to replace the factory pressure switch with the sensor.

This might actually be the optimal place for a sensor as it is where the manual instructs to test for oil pressure.

I didn't want the connector to be in the service loop and subject to constant bending so I routed the wires up toward the headlight then back along the main wire harness.

Finished the oil pressure gauge install, night mode matched the gauge cluster almost perfectly, while day mode is plenty bright enough to see all the time.

For anyone thinking of doing this, there are a TON of extra power points available in the fuse box.

From the top left moving down the first column...

12V always hot, OBD-Empty-Empty-Stop
Not sure, Empty
12V on with ignition, Empty-Empty-DRL
Not sure, Empty
12V on with lights, Tail, Panel
Not sure, P/Point No.2-ECU ACC

I opted to use empty sockets and fuse taps.

Did some extended lapping sessions over the weekend. With the new oil cooler temperatures stabilized to 107c (28c ambient) and pressure was always 60+psi, plan to do an oil change soon and get an analysis done to determine if I can continue on the same change interval (3 lapping days since last change).

So I tried to supercharge my car a week ago, but it didn't work. I certainly do not notice any extra power.

Changed the oil today with some fresh Redline 5w-30 which should last me the remainder of the summer assuming my UOA comes back clean from the last fill. Also put my stock pads back on, the PMU club racers appear to be holding up to the track abuse quite well, at this rate I should be able to get about 3 more events in on this set of pads.

Also @Ultramaroon, I did a mod just for you (because yo seemed fairly disturbed by my lack of concern regarding leaving a stripped screw in my skid plate, I call it the skid plate screw delete.

Step 1 Raise car
Step 2 Remove 1 of the 8 screws from skid plate
Step 3 Lower car

Is that better?

I'm kidding! I tapped it out like a good engineer.

Unfortunately I only had access to an SAE tap set so I guess 5/16 UNC will have to do
