Just take your time going through the gears and slowly adding more and more throttle angle (load) in different types of situations and gears. Once you see the LTFT start to level out around 0, you should be good to go.

LTFT start to level off at idle and/or normal driving speed. What about the STFT?

again, fuel trims are fuel trims. Short term (STFT) is the primary reporting value in this system and LTFT is merely a snapshot of the average aggregate reported short term fuel trims for that particular bucket. Therefore STFTs will represent real-time calculations the ECU is making, which explains why STFT varies rapidly, while LTFT is much smoother, as the value is an average of this real-time data per each MAFV/Load 'bucket' you're in.

Before we go further, there's a ton of jargon and some basic understanding of how these vehicles, and modern vehicles in general, deal with inputs of fuel and air, the reaction process, and outputs of exhaust gasses/fuel that I feel you should learn about.

Try Steve's threads for a quick crash course, or dive deeper into the net to learn about Mass Air Flow tuning paradigms in general. PM me for links

yes should try that out, seems it will only adjust fuel calc for DI as its based on pressure, so hopefully the PI is taken care of somewhere else or already compensated for.
Hmm, ok, good to know it's been tested. In the older roms it's just a single multiplier value, I'll dig around.

Sorry I have not tested it yet, i looked at it a while ago and assumed it was only adjusting DI so i did not bother. I just assume my reading is 30% out (thats what PI scaler and DI pressure has been increased) it seems to work out reasonably well when i fill the tank.

Would be interested to see it tested - it may well cover both.

Does not changing your oil until 5000 miles effect engine start up? #Noobquestion

With E85 you should probably be changing your oil earlier than that anyways.

Okay. I'll need some assistance. My car hates to start when running e85.

Running the Stg 2 UEL E85 A00D.b
Adjusted the maf scaling for the Perrin intake.

I need to apply gas just to get it started, most of the time. And it usually idle's close to 1800-2000 rpms on start up.

But just now it would not turn over. Took maybe 7 attempts in ~10 mins to start. Just looking for any assistance, on what to do.

Temp: 63° F
Location: Iowa
E85 content: station was tested last year at 90%, and as far as I know it hasent changed. Friends have the testers.

Seems odd...Usually it only has a hard time starting when under 40°F. Check this out. There may be another issue though.

@Pen.suhl

ok with high ethanol content like 90% your going to need to increase the cranking injector pulse widths to get it fired up on cold morning below 20C whatever that is in F.

also your probably going to need to add 3 or 4 litres of straight petrol to a full tank or your high E% when the temps get below about 10C.

90% ethanol just does not like firing up on rearly cold mornings.

for IPW changes see Tune Tweaks thread below.

Just adding the straight petrol will help just keep your E% greater than 60%

Just pulled off 318 miles with e85, daily driving(90% freeway) with a handful of wot pulls

I was gonna get gas at 250, but I realized that I forgot my wallet at work...so I did the "I think I can get to work with the gas light on" gamble.

Yes, my tank was practically dry lol
