Switched my damping set up to 6 clicks from the full stiff, the VSC kicks in less.

I have -2 camber on all four corners.

It shouldn't be an issue at the track though since we all just do the pedal dance.

This is my ride height:
It sounds like we've all gotten alignments and we are still experiencing this issue. And we can't all have bad ball joints and other suspension (I know for a fact I don't, as I just replaced mine with the Whiteline roll center kit and had @Ishii Motors do the install).

I'm chalking this up to VSC just not knowing how to deal with lowered ride height (I still have a 2 finger gap between my tires and fender). I don't see any other explanation, except that maybe the way increased grip from our tires is messing with VSC.

So on that note, what tires and sizes are you guys running? I'm 255/35/18 Dunlop Direzza ZII (super sticky)

Amazingly we have no issues with any of the cars we've setup on coils. Probably setup 50-100 cars so far.

Our Wheel to Wheel Spec86 Cup race car runs Continental Slicks and uses Bilstein B14 coils. Our Project BRZ runs KW V3 with either Continentals Slicks or Toyo RA1 for the street. No VSC issues on either of those either on track or off.

I know. I was just kidding. I do ACH->Mt. Wison run every Thursday night. It's annoying but it's all good. I usually turn in at the speed that wouldn't kick in VSC and get on the throttle earlier.

I had about -2.3° on the steering angle sensor to correct after installing coilovers and getting an alignment. It was included in the alignment, but I wonder if that's true for everyone?

So wasn't your steering wheel crooked then?

On track we turn off the VSC via the buttons, no pedal dance.
On the street we leave the VSC engaged. No issues on the street at all. Along with the 50+ other BRZ/FRSs that we've setup for street use.

Perhaps one needs to look at the height and setup to see why the VSC is acting erratically. It could also have to do with the driving style as well, although I would doubt that highly.

Generally if the car is setup properly and you have a grippy tire setup you will be less likely to trigger the VSC actually.

It seems so?

For all I know it was after the alignment, and they corrected it with this. It was tracking straight with the wheel straight when it went in despite bad toe issues on the left side (right was fine? Go figure) This info was in the stack of paperwork they gave me. If there is a physical connection to the rack, this seems separate from the wheel being centered. Unfortunately, I'm at as much of a loss as you are.
