How do I port over an OTS map to Ecutek?

I have searched everywhere... I have found multiple places that say I can load an OTS map with Ecutek, but I can't seem to get it to open. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Obviously, I can go through and copy each table one by one...is that the only way?

Which cal ID do you have?

In theory you could just open an OTS tune if you know the correct one to use, not an OFT hacked one though. However you can't apply the RaceROM patches to OTS tunes as most of them have launch control and ECUtek doesn't like ROMs that have had extras added to them.

Your best bet is to become good with Romraider and copy to a completely stock ROM on that before importing to ECUtek.

I ended up just copying every single table. Was a major PIA, but it worked.

In ECUtek? If so there's probably some tables that won't have been copied. None of those will be critical though.

You should be able to just open it normally if it is indeed "open" and not encrypted. Rename the extension to .bin if you have to.

They are fully open no encryprion
However as @Kodename47 said beware of the launch control\flatFoot shift patch as this is in an area of rom not used by stock rom code and ecutek may write some of its custom map or its own custom patches to the same area.
Also due to the way the OFT system works the rom calid is changed in some oft roms in two of the three occurrances of the calid in the rom. This may also confuse ecutek. Either of those could result in problems for those doing this.

It's working great, no issues whatsoever. I was able to port over 2 tunes. One for the the UEL Stage II 93, and UELe85. Ran the 93 for the first two days, and now I'm on the e85 map. Everything is running STRONG!
