Depends on how you classify that, I guess. I think it will be the best performing Miata there has ever been though based on specs... and it's easily the best looking, IMO. (Mini F-Type)

The Launch Edition ND became available for pre-order in the US at around 12:30 PM EDT today. Not quite 3 hours later, and manual transmissions are sold out in most locations.

Manual time for which?
The time is for a 2.0L manual MX-5. Both those sets of numbers are from European sites at the time of launch or pre-launch for the twins and now the MX-5. I am merely pointing out that the numbers are comparable. Both cars have to make two shifts to reach 62 MPH (100KPH). These were the numbers released by the respective manufacturers. Later, automotive testers were able to achieve lower 0-100 times with more aggressive starts for the twins. I am sure that will be the case for the Mazda too. It is just a matter of waiting for the auto magazine and sites road test which should be coming in June of July. Quote:
