But that kicks off when you hit ~20mph or if you hit a bump and a wheel lifts even just a little bit.

You need to hold down the TRAC button until you get two amber lights. Otherwise your in temporary off mode.

Haha, I was holding down the vsc/sport button. Oops

Works much better when I do it right

I believe I pulled the ABS fuse and got several lights on the dash--a pic of a steering wheel and another one, not just the tc and vsc ones. I put it back in.

the updated versions of this car will allow you to completely turn off traction control. I think the 2017 models according to moto.

Well, now that this tread has been brought back from the dead, I'll go ahead and say that it's THREE seconds, not FIVE that you have to hold the button for. I know it doesn't really matter, but I dunno where everyone got five from, lol.

It's actually not completely off, but you have to be going pretty crazy for it to kick in.

When it's off, it's off. There is no maneuver you can do that will make it activate. If you just put it in sport mode it'll still come on. Quickly turning it off is for when you get stuck

I was unaware of the pedal same or whatever it is that it turns off. Not that it really changes the factuality of my previous statement

If you're referring to holding down the button for 3 seconds to turn the traction and stability control completely off, then you are wrong. It is still on, and it will still gently intervene, but only under extreme circumstances. (Such as when I was completely sideways and practically hitting the rev limiter during my ice racing endeavours.)
