what we in Sweden have the advantage / disadvantage of, is that we have winter for like 6 months of the year, so then there is time to build the cars.

sometimes it can have its advantages to be involved and help the construction of a race track one can for example go there and train though it is not open to the general public

Sorry for late reply.
But first Swedish time attack race at kinnekulle ring are completed
Took a 3rd place in my class (club)
But the car was way too stiff in the back, really nervous in high speed breaking and drift in the corners if I pushed it as much as last year, so had too back off a little, but for the race at mantorp park 2-3 July I will switch too 8kg springs in the back.

Bad on the update her
But 2 weekends ago, it was race 2 in the Swedish time attack series on the well known track for its long straights Mantorp park.
This is also one of the tracks where's Gatebil takes place.
Know from the start that the little Toyota would have to struggle, too keep up whit the more powerful cars, and the air temperatures this weekend was crazy hot +33c.
But after Q1 I was in the top 5 and after Q2 I was on 4th place whit 0,2 seconds to 3rd place and 0,4 seconds to second place.
But in the finale i lost time, so did the rest of cars, but I only managed to get a 4th place, so no podium this time
But I am really happy anyway, because this is second year track driving, and first year competing and first time I ever set my foot on this tracks were racing
And lost to a BMW M3 3.2 (321hp) and a BMW 335 e92 ( maybe 400hp?) and a gutted Civic type r ep3 whit jdm gearbox and diff (running 248hp) so really happy.
The 2 August it's time attack festival on Mantorp park again, has nothing to do whit the competition for me, but you don't say know too track time and ther will be many media tens ther.
But it will be really fun anyway, do the unlimited class has its second race this weekend, due to that too many teams didn't make it to first race, because parts didn't arrive in time.
So really pept to se all the monsters
Like 3 Porsche RSR, Nissan R35 GTR Nismo GT3 running 900-1000hp on 1280kg
And many many more crazy builds
+ the NETA series will also compete, so it's Sweden against hole Europe

Second place in my class so far, on points from times in Q1Q2 from this 2 race, and the third and fourth place off course.

The Swedish time attack festival has now come and went.
Did make it to the super laps finals, and placed me on a 4th place, djust 0,185 sek after 3 place and 0,350 after second place

Really sick cars in the entry of this event.

For more pics on the cool rides, go to Facebook and time attack.nu

Now let's get ready for the series 3rd race at Karlskoga 23/8
