Toyota GT86 2013. Swedish Time attack 2015

Thought maybe someone is a little interested in what happens beyond the sea line.
In any case, I have signed up to run TimeattackNU in the club series, the so-called entry-level.
The car in question was purchased new at Toyota, the spring of 2014.

But now to the car, I had time to run 7 track days 2014

How nice was the rims before the first track days, but I can say that they were quickly changed when I did not have any clear coat on them

some pictures from this year.

But this is how it looked for A to B daily driving.

And the parts on the car so far

XXR 531 18x9,5 ET20

Bought stainless 2.5 "pipes and bends to complete the remaining exhaust system

Also did a front pipe with silencer, to avoid a catalyst.

Also did 2 catch cans, with reall function, not empty cans as you would otherwise get when buying from firms, but real traps

Got home a packet from US and A

The car was then away for winter storage and upgrades to run time attack began

Installed oil cooler with accessories without achieving greater setbacks.

Then I took the opportunity to also instalera my Innovate MTX-d oil pressure and temperature gauges, got to do a little custom solutions before I got the ones I wanted, but they each well in the end.

After I took a look at how HKS and the famous self-made mode of the air snorkel could perhaps be done better and certainly they went.
soon discovered that the original channels in crash beam and styrofoam was to just get up air to snorkel and an idea is born to make a little better, so to get proof that they work, I cut very thin fringe of paper and taped over original channels before and after, then I blew air in the front and there was a greater flow
So I made this in any case.
on the edge as the taped arrow points, hits the air stream impact member originals, to send air up to snorkel.

Then cut and glued bits I got over from polystyrene, to obtain a smoother passage.

Then I started the production of an aluminum plate bent into different sections to control the air and get some more air into the air filter.

Then did a version 2.0 of the plate, which was not as badly damaged and finer bent and even a bit longer, modded although the snorkel to fit into the new.

One can see that the lower part of the guide plates fall a little further down than the original beam of air.

Also began on a version 2.0 on the catch cans to the crankcase and heads.

The track pack so far.
BC racing BR coilovers. 10kg / 7kg not the world's best stuff, had wanted a set of KW club or the like, but may be later.
Should anyway switch to harder swift springs, 8/8? 9/9? 10 / 10kg do not really know, please comment.
justerbara droplinks .

Goodridge G-Stop Stainless Steel Front / Rear Brake Lines.
Motul RBF600 fluid.

Project Mu RSF 01A Front on wish list
Project Mu RSR 02 Rear on wish list
Grimm Speedmaster Cylinder Brace stoper.

Perrin oil cooler kitt.
Cosworth panel filter.
Issis performance titanium axle bak 2.5 ".
stainles 2.5 " cat bak With the silencer from J-Spec.
stainles 2.5 " front pipe, silencer from J-Spec.
Perrin Crank Pulley red.
Mobil 1 ESP Formula 5W30.
Exedy stage1 clutch kitt.
Inovate mtx-d oil press and temp.
TRD short shift.
taler shift stik.
Enkei RPF1 17x9 et35 in gold, payd and son on its way.
Thinking of runing Nankang NS2-R or 595 rs-r.
Bucket seats and so on, much more money to spend, but hope to have finished with everything to start in time attack

Brake cooling under construction and will soon be ready.
Catch tank model 2 at the time.

Exhaust movie from 2014 the car is warmd up, djust got home from track sesion

On the local race track, this track is under construction on an old disused air base. In 2015 it will receive run-off zones in sand and curbs. But the best part is that I have only 5km from the house to this frack
The pictures up top is taken from this on going frack build.

On a track called middle Sweden, driving at night quite an experience.
The last session it was pitch black.

Finally finished with brake cooling in the front, have not taken a long time to do, but have done very little on those, but this weekend I added a few minutes on the parts for it.

Put up some pictures on the first catch tank I did for the crankcase and heads, in case they are more BRZ / GT86 riders here who are considering similar, but now they're picked off like I said and put on the shelf, and model 2 of them will be completed in end of the week

Got a New Years greeting from TAnu.se

How often do you see GT86's in Sweden?

Does Subaru sell the BRZ there?

Not so very often, actually, they have not sold so well here.
Most people probably think that they are too little power and can not see the funny car it actually is.
Subaru BRZ is also sold in Sweden and is a bit more expensive as new, which is strange because the Toyota GT86 and BRZ has the exact same equipment, which is all that is available, the only thing that is extraordinary is red interior and navigation

And this after 7 track runs, kann proceed to judgment was packed with stainless steel wool.

Yep so what happened in the garage then?
I have changed the springs back to 10 kg, so now they are 10kgF/10kgB but have strong concerns to also buy a 8 kg springs, so you can try them out.

Then brake cooling is 100% ready, where some fabrication to get those to go free at full Steering.

Limmade fast Password JDM vingen på orginalen.

TRD short shift .
the idea all along was to extend the lever, for a rummage in the switches as I think they took excessive time on tricky tracks, and the result was really good TRD bushing with accessories.

Extension and new delrin shift knob. ALU piece peeled but not threaded here.

Also took the opportunity to wash off all the freaking green snot on the gear box when it was gone, looks like kindergarten has been unleashed on the entire car with the green slime them so nicely squirted over everything on the car, but now most of it are gone.

Remade the front pipe and welded in a 200cel catt I had laying around, used the stick welder.

Even got home seats from a sponsor, Matfors hydraulics, thanks

Have goten some tires also this week, Kumho KU36 and the thing who were so nice with them, is that they are only inside/out side marking, you get out a lot more track time of them that way, then I may switch the tiers on a race weekend: racesmile

Also bought a set of TW180 Nankang NS2R.
