What would it cost to get this thermal coated`?

Looks so damn awesome, If I weren't going to Japan for 3 weeks this year, i would already have put down my order for it.. But gotta wait until after the trip to see if I got any spare cash left.

Cheers from Norway

After ~10,200mi I received P0420 catalyst efficiency below threshold. I had merged onto the freeway still during warm up and not hot footing it around when it triggered. Cleared it, hope it doesn't come back. I suspect un-metered air getting in before the O2 it's always sounded slightly... off like there was a tiny exhaust leak since new.

is it just me or does it sound better with the cat? without the cat is pretty raspy. did you eliminate all cats in your exhaust and is there a resonator?

It can go either way, very subjective. I personally run with both cats (high flow though) specifically for no CEL, stinkiness, and sound.

Only the header cat, still have high flow cat in fp... I preffer the catless sound, it sounds raspy, but at the same time its a bit louder, and the drone has been eliminated for me.

Turning off the light doesn't fix the issue here with this header. If you disable the light, this will cause you to not pass an inspection, correct?

All good, ordered a Tomei Ti catless front/test pipe from FT86SF and we'll see what that does with this header and the (quiet, like Q300?) catback.
It works, easier to get heat in it, this is how it sounds with the Tomei Titanium uncatted frontpipe and Milltek resonated catback:

Once again, a catted header does not prevent the P0420 code. This is a high flow cat. You will most likely throw this code when you are highway cruising. The only way to get around this is to tune it out or delete the rear O2. This will cause you to fail inspection instantly on the evap system if it is turned off. This is why a tune is crucial to having a header. You can flash back to stock for inspection time, then flash right back to your tune when done. Complete waste of money if you bought this thinking it was a stock replacement on a stock tune and functioned the same way.

Except it will run on a stock tune without issues. I ran mine for 4.5 months/7600 miles without a single CEL and factory tune. That includes ~8x 3+ hour car trips of nothing but highway cruising. Once I installed OFT Stage 1 tune, that's when it started to throw a CEL (which I tuned out).

Are there any numbers on the flow rating of the original vs. this one?
