Rebuild the maf tube for better signal if you have to use maf only. 3" tube with a clean signal will read more the ln your kit will make. Only reason we went with the large range maf on fabron is it would comand -100%ve during switch over on going hybrid on his set.

We maxed the maf on our c38 kit. It's due to the fact that the maf sits in a short section of tube right after a bend the turbulence jacks up the reading. I imagine that's why kraftwerks sells the kit with an SD ecutek tune. The piping on the kit is garbage all the way around. Ross had to fabricate new hot side piping for us because it didn't fit at all. Which btw Ross after messing with JP's kit I found that the original pipe we got from them was the one for the c38 but all they did was change the diameter to accommodate the larger blower outlet they didn't change he pipe demensions to accommodate the blower outlet being farther forward. Also idk if you noticed but the c30 kit hot side doesn't fit for crap either JP's rubs the headlight and frame rail too. Any way Ross hooked us up with a hybrid map that transitions at around 3000 the car runs absolutely beautifully but even still it took a bit of doing to get the transition smoothed and everything perfect due to the bad maf signal. I want to say it was the treadstone kit on mats car that had some similar wonkyness for a bit due to maf placement. You may be able to block the existing maf flang and weld a new one in the slightly longer section that runs in front of the alternator and solve it with minimal effort/cost but you may end up needing to extend that section farther which would require refabing pretty much all of the cold side piping.

I though about doing that but it was not necessary since my tuner was able to trick the maf and make it read around 30% more.
