This is exactly how I run mine. No issues with brake bias, very similar to stock feel as far as I can tell. Note that this is street use only, so I have no idea how it will perform on track.

Good to know Fizz, thanks! StopTech street performance pads in the front and project mu hc+800 or club racer in the rear?

In my opinion yes because with same pads all round (with front and rear brembo) I found front bias a little too strong for my liking. Using a slightly grippier rear pad improved the bias better.

By the way I'm using stoptech street performance front, with project mu b-spec rears.

using hps front pads and project mu clubsport on stock rears. Feels so much better than the matched set I started with. Just a little noisy

Is anyone running 17's with STI Brembos? I need to invest in some track wheels, but I'm trying to figure out what fits without spacers first.

Thanks

I have 2004 STI (Gold) Brembos on OEM 17" wheels using 25mm spacers.
There is about a 5mm of gap between the front caliper and the wheel.

I appreciate the info, but I'm looking to find what fits without spacers.

That's then info I'm trying to gather. I've had a few different sets of wheels for my car, but I want to confirm fit before I get the next set. Ideally I want RPf1s in 17x9 +35, but I don't know if they'll clear or not

I have a search saved on TireRack.com titled "Brembo Fitment". It's a 2004 STI just titled according to my needs. Anyway, I will occasionally use that search result to see if anything is being sold that tickles my fancy that is confirmed to be 5x100 and fit over Brembos. They currently sell 44 wheels that are 17", 5x100 and clear 2004 STI Brembos.

Then what I do, if I'm curious what it might look like, is go to my "BRZ" saved search and go to the wheel I saw under "Brembo Fitment" to see what they look like on the BRZ.

Let me know how that works out for ya or not. You can also ask a TireRack person if they're online. They're super helpful.

17x8 RPF1's fit. I forget which offset, 42 I believe... but yeah the 17" with the curve spokes will fit. 17x9 will not
