Guys, please don't respond to this troll. Him and another guy were on the Facebook group yesterday arguing for hours (which, lol at anyone that has time for that) and generally being whiny babies. They couldn't understand the process manufacturers use to ensure authenticity, brand quality, and economics of ROI for a product, and instead just saw it as "manufacturer is mad i got it cheaper from unknown retailer so he won't warranty my shit."

tl;dr - giant whiny baby trolls. Ignore.

Couldn't agree more. This is the part probably 9/10 people that mod cars on a limited budget do not understand. They buy parts from drop-ship companies on eBay or Amazon and expect the original manufacturer to warranty that part, it's simply ridiculous!

Part of the reason many people buy from more expensive vendors like FT86SpeedFactory is the fact that they go through the authorized reseller process for all of their products. If something goes wrong, they got you covered.

This is three comments from a post online that had HUNDREDS of comments to it. To say this snap shot is taken out of context (or at the very least favoring one side of the argument) is a huge understatement. KartBoys huge cult following wouldn't exist if he didn't have great customer service, and I have heard so numerous times.

This post was about Minimum ADVERTISED Price, not sales price people. The point is that everyone has a lowest price they can advertise. It doesn't affect the actual sale price if you call a dealer and ask for a better deal. Everyone wants the best price these days and doesn't want to do any work to get it.

I don't hold it against Tom at all. The guy owns a business and is in it to make a living, not make friends. Also, I think his response is perfect and to the point. Good for him.

You want to mess around and patronize illegitimate resellers outside of his dealer network to save like $10? You get what you pay for. And you honestly can't say that you thought it was legit when you bought it off a random on a facebook group lol.
