Start by removing the bumper. Begin with the 4 screw push pins located in the wheel well. A phillips bit from a screw driver makes the process easier. Three are located at the bottom, the 4th is up behind the side marker.
![]() Next remove the side marker. Insert a flat head screwdriver into the hole pushing towards the front of the vehicle to release the tab. ![]() Remove the push pin under where the side marker is located. ![]() Remove all the push pins and bolts holding the gasket located on the top of the bumper where the seam of the hood is located. ![]() Remove the push pins, bolts, and vent access under the bumper. ![]() Remove the main shield under the car. 7 push pins, 8 12mm bolts, and 4 10mm bolts hold it in place. ![]() Remove the bumper. Remove the bolts holding the snorkel to the car. ![]() At this point begin draining the radiator. Use a 3/8 ID hose to connect to the nipple to make draining less messy. Loosen the thumb screw until it begins to drain. ![]() Remove the radiator cap to speed up the draining process. ![]() ![]() Remove the air box. Disconnect the MAF sensor cable. Remove the two bolts holding the air box. ![]() ![]() ![]() Remove the plastic guard on the top of the crash beam. It is held in by push pins. ![]() ![]() Remove the three bolts holding the hood release. ![]() Remove the six bolts holding the top brace. Two bolts are located below. ![]() ![]() ![]() Removing the overflow bottle. Two 10mm bolts hold it in place. ![]() Remove the hose going to the top of the engine. ![]() Four bolts hold the radiator to the AC condenser. ![]() ![]() ![]() Unclip the fan connectors and unclip the harness from the fan. ![]() There are 2 clips holding the radiator fans to the radiator. Lift from the passenger side and up out of the engine bay. ![]() ![]() There are two brackets on each side of the radiator. Remove the two bolts on each side. ![]() Remove the stock radiator. A clip holding the temperature sensor between the AC condenser and radiator. Use needle nose pliers to release it. ![]() Take the brackets and remove the bushings. You will need to put them into the bracket upside down to clear the taller radiator. ![]() ![]() Place the skunk2 radiator into the car and secure it with the new bushing placement. ![]() Using the included hardware to secure the stock fans to the radiator. ![]() Reconnect all hoses and refill and burp the system. Check for leaks and reconnect all bolts in the reverse order of this guide. |
