Skunk2 ultra radiator

Does anyone have any info on this radiator with liquid2liquid oil cooler buildt into the end tank?
This looks similar to what robispec made before.

Found some info here: http://www.ft86speedfactory.com/skun...oler-1965.html
Cant find anything about it on http://eu.skunk2.com/

Try the links now.
AT radiators have a AT oil cooler some times.
But I think this is for motor oil.

Transmission oil, motor oil, same thing.

Seems like a good option instead of a separate oil cooler, especially if you just need a slight boot in cooling capacity. What's your purpose for it?

Defenitely interested.. not sure if Skunk is as good as koyo but the integration of the oil cooler is a nice plus. It doesn't come with fittings or anything right, not specific to frs/brz?

Interestingly enough, FT86SF lists it as manufactured by koyo. Not sure if it's a typo.
I would wager that the oil lines, fittings, sandwich plate, etc are bought separately. It would be nice if it was all packaged together, though.

Looks like a good alternative to robispec which had some production and clearance issues.

Seems Speedfactory has them but still no fittings or anything made to work as a direct fit with our cars.. im sure its not hard at all to get some fittings and lines sorted out.

Shouldn't be hard to source the parts for the install knowing the fitting size coming off the radiator. I just recently had all the parts needed karted in the autoraceparts webiste for my own diy oil cooler. I did see the koyo manufacturer on their site, does provide more peace of mind and sure beats the $1K+ price tag on the robispec. Also seems that just the ultra model is made by Koyo, i'm confirming this with them.

Here is a pic of the robispec radiator.

I am installing a kraftwerks C38 kit, the ultra radiator combined with this adapter would make the install alot easier.
Then I would not have to worry about fitting a oil cooler in the front as well.
This sandwich adapter does not have a thermostat.
So its perfect for a liquid/liquid cooler. And it clears the C38 kit.

A word of warning when thinking about dealing with robispec

I would suggest to find a different route

I have a koyo rad and perrin oil cooler work great so far for now but do plan on supercharging soon and will figure a way for oil cooler to fit, I was a guinea pig for Robi and that didn't work out too well.

i think you might be fine with those - several KW and JR kit folks are using similar setups with success. you can pop into the owners threads in the forced induction section and ask, i think both threads are pretty helpful in that regard.

just be careful of the kool-aid. seems like you "have" to be one camp or the other in those threads, consumer due diligence seems to be frowned upon.
