Mainly, the reason I was washing the car was to remove the salt.. not the dirt. Since the salt here in canada corrode and creates rust. Also, to remove the fresh dirt and grime as much as I could...

I guess its true that water spot do damage the car if you don't have filtered water.

After you wash, dry, and wax (especially if you are just using traditional carnuba based wax) apply this:

This stuff is simply amazing and will make your paint slick as ice.
Its a polymer based solution and you simply spray on and wipe off.
You car will stay clean much longer and when you go to wash it the dirt and grime will come off with minimal effort.

I put that on after every single was no matter what.

I put something called Jet Black, also from Turtle wax. Then I dry the car and use a compound, polisher (if it is necessary) and after all that.. I apply my sealent (NXT 2.0 Wax by Meguiar)

I just want to know the reason why the car is not coming off clean while I use the same process to wash my other cars

is it because i park in the garage?
i use the sealent and dirt stick to it that sticks firmly to the car?

Could be as simple as you drove through something that's worse than the other cars were driven through...

I believe the quality of the clear coat on our cars is not as good as some others. My parents own a Kia Soul, and that clear coat is much harder and thicker than the clear coat on our cars. It makes cleaning much easier. I clayed the Kia Soul last fall, and it was so clean it was almost not needed. This is from a couple that do nothing but automatic car washes and NEVER dry it. After claying the Kia Soul, I used Carpro Reload and it still looks fantastic 6 months later.

When I do my FR-S, claying takes forever because there is so much stuck in the paint. I used Griot's Garage Best of Show wax last fall and an mostly pleased with the results. When I could during the winter, I used Optimum No-Rinse Wash and Shine, my new favorite way to wash my car. When I use a no-touch automatic car wash in the winter, I dry it and go over some of the still-dirty spots with a clean microfiber towel. This spring I will try CQuartz after correcting the paint with an orbital to try to remove most of the snow brush marks and other paint defects caused by winter.

You might be right, the clear coat isn't as good.... =3.. Also a new car has the paint fresh so it might not have fully hardened?

I think this is very unlikely. The paint was factory applied to the body panels before assembly. Then it was assembled in a factory in Japan, waited on a lot to be shipped to North America, waited after import for customs/etc. to get on a truck to the dealer, then sat at the dealer for a bit before you bought it. This probably took months. The paint would be fully cured by that time. You could always check the manufacturing date on the car to see how long the paint was on before you got it; it's probably listed somewhere on the driver's door frame.

Its most likely, but the car was built 2 month before I had possession of it. Anyways, I think my theories are right. The dirt bonds to the clear coat.

I learned this the hard way and it's gonna cost me about $1500 to get them all buffed out

Here you go bro, here's how I plan keeping mine clean when i'm driving my other car.

For me, 3-7min to put on (alone or with help) and 2min to take off (while car warms up) and stashed in trunk.
