Honda prelude worth?

Anybody think a 4th gen prelude with a VTEC 200hp is worth the buy at $2000-$3000? Or is this car more harm then its worth being so old...

You literally have no details about the car. It could be up on blocks with the engine out for all we know.

Details man!

Fourth gen is old? Ha!
Pick it up. Those are nice little cars and a nice size aftermarket.

I'm assuming this is a 100K+ miles? Nothing to crazy?
It's going to need work, I'm guessing. Small thinks like bushings, brakes, etc.

4th gens are awesome! If they're "old", I guess I'm really old! lol that was the cool new car when I was in high school.

Just a 4th gen prelude in general as a side project or do you guys think that owning an FRS and a prelude makes no sense since the FRS beats it in almost all factors... but blind spot and cool digital gauges. Lol just want some input in what you guys think if its worth a purchase or to save your money.

Here's a few pictures of my prelude before someone stole it and I bought my FRS.

Well if youve already owned one you can probably answer your own question better than most here lol.

An EBP 5th gen was my last car before my FRS. It was beat up on the outside but I loved that thing.

Still consider getting another one as a stop gap.

True mine was auto and non vtec though xD haha, maybe I'll get one as a toy later on, not yet.

How'd you like the 5th gen?

Mine was auto as well, I loved it. That VTEC H22 is so nice. After I had the work done it needed when I bought it, I never had a problem for the 80k miles or so I drove it. I still think its one of the better looking little cars today.

5spd and h22 puts it pretty much on par with the 86.
I kinda miss mine.

We have FRS/BRZ owners who weren't even born when the 4th gens were made.
