3 upcoming Honda VTEC motors from Honda!!

http://www.roadandtrack.com/go/news/...ngines?src=rss

Could this is the early segment of the "3 brothers" that Honda seems to be brewing. I love competition so this is music to my hears to see what Honda has in store to compete with the twins.

The three engines include a 1.0-liter three-cylinder, a 1.5-liter four-cylinder, and the one we all care about, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder. Aside from a few photos, Honda is releasing almost no information about the new powerplants except that they all feature direct injection and they are all designed to achieve "the fun of driving and excellent fuel economy."

That is well and good, but there is one morsel of information sure to make your ears perk up: The fancy, new 2.0-liter VTEC turbo produces power in excess of 280 hp.

I'm sure the 2.0 is what is powering the new Civic Type R.

That's right. It's good to see Honda back to making less boring cars and back to the 90's Honda.

This should be good for car enthusiasts and after seeing what the NSX powerplant could be is a sure sign that Honda wants to make fun cars again.

Read title.
Was worried that I'd click it, and see Honda's 3 newest lawnmowers.

inb4 people start ignorantly posting questions about putting this in an 86.

Curious to see what the 1.5L and 1.0L will output, that Honda S660 concept could turn into something worth noticing with one of these under the hood... S1k has a decent ring to it and with ~130-140 hp it could be a nice tribute to the NA Miata with similar specs. File it next to the folder on Unicorn theories.

Ah, you beat me to it. But here's the official page from Honda about them:
