Show me where you can have seats, rails, AND BRACKETS for 600-800 that are actually "nicer" than stock. Don't show me crap. Brackets are 300!! ![]() NO after market seats include brackets so add ~300 to the cost. ![]() And it's obvious you have never had after market seats before. ![]() Cheap after market seats ALL HAVE PLAY. They move front and back and wiggle, they are NOT secure. I have NEVER seen a low cost reclinable NOT wiggle. That picture is probably right after the install. A little heat and some time and they will tighten up. Same with the clazzio covers. |

I'm sorry for messing up this thread. I am just sick of this guy trying to justify buying crappy after market seats and saying they are "nicer" and cost 600-800 when he does not take into account the cost of brackets and shipping.

Bringing up shipping is a ridiculous argument. I checked out through SARD's site, $61.75 for shipping for the black covers, bringing the total up to $520+. If you want the red or blue options, you'll be paying over $600+ for the covers with shipping. Once again for a few hundred more, you start opening up nice options for aftermarket seats. Shipping through Andy's is only $40 more for seat pairs. You will pay $100-120 on average for shipping, which for how much money is being spent is not a very significant amount. I really am sorry you'd rather act childish and fill your posts with emoticons rather than actually seeing my point. People like you are why others stray away from these forums. You can't make a comment without someone throwing a fit trying to be right 100% of the time. The seat covers are a great option if you're going with the black ones, or if you're buying them used. If you want the other red or blue options, you could go aftermarket with nicer results for the price you pay for the covers. Not to mention once your aftermarket seats are installed, you can sell your stock seats to make up some of the cost. Worried? Find a buyer for your seats before you take them out. If you'd like to mature up a bit, I would be glad to continue this discussion via private message so we do not fill this thread with arguing. |

1. SHOW ME 600-800 with BRACKETS that are NICER than stock. 600 shipped is not the same as 600seats+300 brackets and another 150-200 for shipping(for seats AND brackets) 2. Have you ever seen/sat/tested in low cost reclinables? They have LOTS of play. Every time you brake, the seat will lurch forward. Every time you accelerate, the seat will lurch backwards. 3. People like you are why cars get riced out with shit parts. |

Not to mention again with aftermarket seats, you can sell the stock seats to make some money back. I've personally gotten offered anywhere from $150 to $400 for my stock seats. Why? The GT86 comes with very nice racing inspired seats from the factory, even the cloth version. A lot of people like them and would be a cheap upgrade to someone wanting to half-ass a seat setup. Would I put stock BRZ/FRS cloth seats in another car? Nope. I'll definitely sell them to someone who wants to, however. What is "nice" to you may not be "nice" to someone else. Yeah, if you want leather seats with heat/cooling and premium stitching, you'll pay a lot more. If you're fine with cloth seats like a lot of people are, this significantly reduces costs. Its up for you to decide what you'd like to do. $500-600 for seat covers, or ~$1200 for actual racing seats which will support 4 and 5 point harnesses. 2) Everything I say here is from experience. You are correct in regards to this being a common issue with cheaper seats. I personally have not seen this issue with Cobreau CR1's which I have put in to three cars now. I would advise anyone wanting aftermarket seats to thoroughly research their choice's brand before purchasing. 3) To be completely honest, putting seat covers on a car is much more rice than installing actual quality, aftermarket seats. This is another ridiculous comment. Please direct further questions to me via private message. I'll be more than happy to discuss this topic further with you privately. |

1200 is NOT "a little more" than 600. The guy is looking for LEATHER SEATS which is the name of the title of this thread. Which none of your solutions provide. Quit while you are ahead.

For those of you who made it through that mess... here is a link to some pics of the Clazzio seat covers.

![]() I simply offered an alternate solution with potentially better results. My Cobreau CR1's are cloth and look 100x better than the crappy covers you just posted. Many aftermarket cloth seats look so much better than these crappy "leather" covers. I guess some people enjoy wrinkled, tacky seat covers. Who knew? Sorry, we didn't even touch the subject of the covers obstructing the side impact air bags. God forbid you ever experience a side impact collision with these covers. At least with an actual racing seat, you can at minimum use a 4 point harness which will actually help save your life. I'll use your own argument against you. Invest the money to do it right rather than going with a ricer "cover" mod. These covers are almost as bad as plastidip. People like you are why we have guys running around with shitty riced out cars. Spend the money to do it right the first time rather than looking for the cheapest way to do something. |

OP, I'm considering Katzkin leathers for my car. I had them in my previous car and was very happy with the quality. They're a little more expensive than the SARDs or Clazzios, but actually replace the cloth rather than cover it.

I sprung for heated KATZKINZ a few weeks ago. They look, feel and smell absolutely beautiful. If you really want to enjoy life in the slow lane as well as the fast lane, definitely give them a look...

@swarb Don't have a heart attack man. You should calm down.
Just read through your post history. You're quite the douchebag around here... explains all of your posts on this thread. Nearly all of your posts are aggressive in nature and filled with you trying to prove others wrong. Hope that is working out well for you. Adding you to my ignore list shortly. ![]() I'd highly recommend Katzkin over anything else. You don't want to get covers to go over your seats. Something to actually replace the cloth or alcantara covers would be much better overall. |

Even though I agree with you that quality leather seat covers are generally less expensive than quality aftermarket seats, you really don't have to be such a douchebag about it. You sound absolutely furious, I wonder how easy it is to tick you off in person. |

I'm going to take pictures of mine at lunch and will upload later. You literally cannot tell they are covers. I was not kidding when I said I had my car appraised by a dealer and they had no idea I put seat covers on. |
