Start here and look through this thread:

and see what setups these guys are running.

In my experience, you won't be able to fit these wheels without going to coilovers.
That said, sometimes one can make things work but that would mean having some poke and no more than 2 deg of camber. You likely already have more due to the drop on Sportlines. That would mean adding a spacer which is even more poke.

I need some of your guys advice.

I am trying to decide on the following set ups:

1) XXR 527 18x8.75 +35mm offset (225/40/18 Tyre)
-With BC BR Coilovers

Or

2) XXR 527 18x8.75 +20mm offset (225/40/18 Tyre)
-With BC BR Coilovers
-SPC LCA (For a -2 Degree Camber adjustment)
-Rolled fenders

Has anyone tried the second option? I have been looking far and wide, and could not find much on the XXR 527 18x8.75 +20mm

Everyone that went for the +20mm offset rim chose the 9.5J ....

Reason for that being ? Go Big or Go Home?(STANCE) Or is the 8.75J 20mm offset not appealing?

I am trying to figure out if it will be a little more practical than the 9.5J 20mm
(I am not after stance, but I am after an aggressive look, I need to find out if the +20mm Offset will be reasonably practical for daily driving)

(I think I need to learn more about wheel set up)

hi i have gram lights 57xtremes 18x9.5 et 40's all around, im sitting on a 235 tire, and i dont like the stretch fitment. I want to go to a 255 section all around, will it hit the spring perch? im all stock suspension, i do want to lower the car 1'' but without going to coilovers. thanks!

Okay, Hi guys, I'm back. This time I'm set and know what exactly what I want.

My FRS is on TRD springs.

Apparently the only rims I can really settle on are TE37SL

So I want to know will this clear my TRD springs + stock strut,

TE37SL: 17x 8.5 +45
Tires: Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 245/40

I'm trying to get a -1.4 camber all around.

Will I be able to clear this without spacers? So far I only have front camber bolts and adjustable lower control arms on it's way (not yet installed)

Hey there, I used to live in Mechanicsburg. I am on TRD springs, 8.5 45 with a 235 tire square set up. The dealer installed the springs, and set camber to spec. No issues

Yea me too, im actually trying to get -1.8 or so but even with 5mm spacers the shop only felt comfortable going to -0.5 😕

Hi guys. I'm new here and have been doing a lot of trolling around but I haven't found a conclusive answer. I hope you can help me out.

I'm looking to run a 9.5" wheel with as minimal amount of poke as possible. It seems like the most common offset for 18x9.5" is +38mm. The problem is, I want to stay on stock suspension, and, at least from my estimations, a wheel that size will need at least a 12mm spacer to fit without hitting the suspension. I'm not willing to do that, so these will have to hold off until I get coilovers if true.

My fallback plan was to get RPF1's in 17x9" +35mm. It seems like these should *just barely* fit without any issues, but I would like some confirmation before I pull the trigger on these. Has anyone had firsthand experience with this setup?

Another question, in case the 17x9's actually don't fit, how big of a slide-on spacer can I safely use without replacing the wheel studs? I wouldn't think I would need anything more than 3mm.

Sitting on TRD springs (1.125 inches lowered) and stock struts:

Looking at getting ZE40's deciding between staggered 18x8.5, 9.5 or 18x9 squared.

Leaning towards 18x9 +40 (with 245/35/18) squared right now and was wondering if I'd have any problems with rubbing or hitting the struts (especially in the front).

But they poke, theres no way to fit a 9.5 wide front wheel w out poke unless you get coilovers. 17 9 et35 would also fit, and poke less no spacer needed. Where are you seeing info that these sizes will hit suspension?

I need a recommended tire size and brand for my enkie raijin 18x8 +45 and 18x8.5 +45. I had seen a post on another thread that had mentioned 225/40 for the 18x8 and 245/35 for the 18x8.5. Need something good in the wet and dry I live in the east coast.

sorry to jump in here but how wide of a tire would fit front and rear on a 18X9.5 et38? im running 18X9.5 et 40's, is that a big difference?
