Turbo from factory or aftermarket
Any of you have any intel on if the 2016 frs will have a turbo or should I go with the STS rear turbo kit, SBD turbo kit or an fa20club kit, or an TR3 performance kit from miami. I want me some ponies so I can race those mustang guys with the v8's and win lol I need power I almost want to trade this car in for a srt-4 or one of those new mustang eco-boost w/ performance pkg
Also I'm looking to get maybe around 230 to the wheels but the mods I have right now are a Weapon-R intake with Crawford power blocks so I'm around 195whp probably as the car sits atm. Thanks again guys Edit: Also have a cusco catch can not sure if that gives me more horsepower or not Last edited by chiefshayan; 03-05-2015 at 09:50 PM. |

Can't go wrong with fa20club or tr3.
And the 2016 car will be twin turbo 350bhp.

There is zero indication that the twins will get forced induction next year, or any year after that. Anyone who says a turbo FT86 is coming is either being wishful, or trying to sell you something.
Don't buy it. |

Obvious troll is obvious? Please? In the scary case that you are serious, you won't be beating any modern V8's in a turboed BRZ for less than $8K of aftermarket goodies and tuning. FullBlown, AVO, and JDL are just a few manufactures that make quality turbo kits. You can Google them for prices and specifics, but hopefully that should get you started. |

Thanks for the advice guys! I think I'm ultimately going to go with either FA20Club or TR3 performance out of miami. I just want this car to pick up some speeds lol

If this car came boosted stock off the lot you would have SO MANY more accidents from people fucking around.....I can imagine it now. The commitment for someone to go aftermarket forced induction is a good hurdle to have and keep in my opinion.

oh yah. FA20club for sure. make sure to get it TT, or Toni Tuned as they like to call it. If you want to make sure your ride is "super hot" get a Vinscoti tune.

If you are reading this thread and know nothing about frs products, please understand that people are being sarcastic and trolling.
