Factory PCM updates and aftermarket tunes

the recent announcement of a PCM update dealing with the injectors had me wondering how factory updates are handled by ECUtek and the tuners that use their software. Does ecutek get a copy of the updated stock reflash and then push a version that can be modified out to its customers who will layer on their custome tune?

Want to make sure that these kinda fixes will always trickle down to us that run custom tunes.

It seems most tuners have already (or have plans to) incorporated this fix in their latest tunes.

That's the A01 revision, the suffix is the region.

Note that this applies to the transient timing retard, so in between shifts. You will NOT notice any performance difference. I should also mention that EcuTek saw this vulnerability before it was public here, and as we happen read the documentation, we've been altering this for a couple of months to play it safe

If you have a tune from an EcuTek tuner, just get an update with the A01x or request your A00x to be updated. It is a 3 minute process if no features are changed.
