Could be light scratches... are you using clean, moistened microfiber towels?

It could also be hazing from a hasty wax job. Has the car ever been waxed?

Yes i am! The self wash place i went to had the wax option and it went through the pressurizer so you might be right. Would it come off eventually if it is wax? I tried wiping it but nothing happened.

It should wear off on it's own if wax. You could try rubbing harder but may have to really lay into it.

If it is indeed wax, then it should definitely come off without harm, but not without some work.

As the purpose of wax is to form a protective coat over the paint, it will not simply wipe off after it has cured. You may have to clean that area (read: entire front bumper) with a bit of rubbing alcohol to remove the wax, and then wax over it again by hand.

I've never been able to find lightning red c7p touch paint around the metro Atlanta area. I've been hesitant to order online. What's the best place some of you guys have purchased touch up paint?

Be careful with the paint pen. The brush leaks from the shaft...my hood found out the hard way

Should have clarified. I've checked the Subaru, Toyota, and scion dealers. None have it.

You can get rock chips within one mile of driving. Time doesn't matter.

Even new cars come with them from the showroom. From Honda to Ferrari...
