It still doesn't test the total OFT draw if the ecu was kept awake.

Kept oft plugged in the last 2 weeks. Went to start the car after 48 hours and dead battery.

The screen dimming mode is deceiving. Unplug your oft.

I have mine suction mounted near the a-pillar just above the dash with a cell phone holder I modified. I plug mine up prior to first start in the morning and it stays plugged in until I am done driving for the day. I just unplug and stow until morning. Takes no time to plug it in and hang it.

A have a suction mount on the little window on the door. I had the cord ran through the side of the dash so it wasn't visible.

i noticed if i keep it plugged in and turn the car off wtihout interacting with it, it'll go to the blank (but still backlit) screen. however if i use it a bit after teh car has turned off, it won't go back to the blank screen on its own, at least not after two hours.

Hopefully an update in the future will implement an "auto power off" feature, if the device remains inactive after "X" amount of time it'll power down.

Similar to that of a GPS.
