Can anybody help me with this newbie question regarding wheels and tires?

Quick question guys if yall dont mind answering for me since I'm new to the forums:

When I get my BRZ and decide to get ST suspension Coilovers and drop it down to 35mm and get these 18x9.5 Rota Grid - Deep Red (5x100/e38/73) rims, what size tires would I need to get so nothing rubs? Would 255.35.18 all around work or would be rub? Thx in advance

Or

If I decided NOT to get Coilovers yet and just get the rims, what tire size would be best? And could I just put the tires and rims on without really doing anything else to it? Could I do 225.40.18 front and 255.35.18 rear? or 255.35.18 all around without rubbing?

Just went through process. Without coil overs or camber can do 17x9 +35 offset with 245/40/17 tires without rubbing on front. +38 offset will rub in front On rear probably could do 255/40/17 without rub. Less selection of 17" wheels than 18", but tires cost less.

Good lookin on the quick reply mang! But quick question also, I'm new to this so if I do get my Rota Rims I said, would I be able to run 255.35.18 all around without it rubbing? Does it say if it rubs on the first link you gave me?

First link says will be 21.8 mm closer to suspension strut. For me 18x9.5 e 38, without coil overs would rub in front on struts and most likely not clear the fender on my brz. Have to take own measurements to determine for sure.

I may sound like a n00b but does it say on the first links website that you would rub in the front? Or you just know that yourself?

21.8 mm closer to strut than my oem wheel would have rubbed. My 245/40/17 on 17x9 with +35 offset is very close to my strut and I was warned that +38 would rub (by others with allot more experience than me, unless I installed coil overs)

If I decided to get my coilovers installed at a professional place, would they also help me out on what tires size to get with my rims so it doesn't rub? Because I might as well install everything at once when I install the coilovers (rims, tires etc)

I'll defer to more experienced on lowering. 35 mm is about 1 1/3 inch if I recall though which will reduce poke and not uncommon from what I have seen

So I should be able to get away with 35mm lower at 255.35.18 all around? With no rubbing or I would have to put it on the car and see myself?
