Question Wheels and tires Question

This may be a very stupid question (forgive me, I am no tuner nor know much about cars) but is it possible to put the stock FR-S 17" tires on another car? I know that bolt patterns are a factor when it comes to changing out wheels but how about the entire tire and wheels themselves?

I just got 18" tires with the FIVE:AD S5:F wheels and now have 4 stock tires and wheels and am trying to figure out what I can do with them. I suppose I could try to put them on my hubby's Scion XB if that's even possible, or my sister's Toyota 2002 Mr2 Spyder (though they may be too big and look weird, i think they are 15" and staggered).

Or should I just sell them to local folks here in socal? I barely have driven my car 1200 miles (mostly in traffic, lol) so the tires are in tip top shape. Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated!

Ah, thanks. Darn I don't think it'll work on the 2009 XB, they are 5x114.3... and the Spyder is 4X100.

Check out the wheels & tires section, specifically the sticky on wheels 101. Other than bolt pattern (which is pretty standard, 5 x 100 mm) I'd check the "offset" to make sure you're not hitting anything (ie suspension components when turning lock to lock, etc.)

5x100 is standard lug pattern for most (but not all) Subarus.
Most Toyotas, Scions, Hondas, etc. use either 4x100 or 5x114.3 unfortunately. Sucks because I have extra wheels in both those sizes laying around and can't put them on the Subie.

Can anyone confirm that the stock tires will go on a Subie 2007 Impreza 2.5? I'm looking on the list: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_cars_...ttern_is_5x100 and it's not 100% clear if this particular model is 5x100mm. Thanks!!
