The CFD of the wing on the FRS allows me to fine tune the positioning and acquire data on output values. I have manufacturing and supplying ready.
This is ridiculous. You may very well know what you're doing, but I highly doubt you've had any high end Voltex, Kognition, the APR Dual Element, etc. wings in your posession, let alone actually tested them. These products are being made by some very smart guys and are out there being used on some of the fastest once-production cars in the world in time attack racing. You do understand these are very bold claims, yes? Talk is nothing without proof.

Glad to see it's multi-element though. Chassis mounted too, I hope.

I give you permission to send me some for free for testing on my S2000 and 240sx.

:P

Students always think the things they come with are always better and nevah bin done befoh. Testing and proof is for suckers.

OP probably should do a patent search before he starts putting his money where his mouth is as well.

I was thinking that same thing. Even if a patent didn't exist before there may be one now (assuming anybody else actually wanted to make the monstrosity). Not sure if it was part of the "business plan" to release drawings on a public forum before establishing patent rights.

Ah, the classic engineer. Little to no real world experience, but they know everything.

I'm very aware of this. I hate when the engineers at my job ask me to do something that I know cannot be done, even though the theory is sound. In my experience, experience is greater than theory.

Best of luck to you though. I'm sure if you believe enough in yourself, you'll make a product far superior to the other companies who have been doing this for 10 or 20 years.

Hubris in engineering is part of the learning experience.

There's nothing better for learning than "knowing" your design will be better, and then seeing if fail miserably, and then figuring out why it failed.

I don't even know what to say about this thread. So much crap. Seems like an engineer who knows enough to be dangerous, but doesn't actually know what they are doing. I can say this having been there like all engineers. Seems he knows how to hit the "CFD" button and get results.

Holy crap, why all the negativity? Some one actually wants to contribute their own hard work and everyone just shits on them without any concrete reason?

I think they actually went pretty easy on him and for the most part have presented serious questions and doubts and not uselessly ridiculed him.
But the fact is that he is making huge claims without presenting anything close to solid evidence. And most of his replies are defensively repeating the same rhetoric and while his faith in his product is quite unshakable that is not enough to make us believe as well.
I am curious to see the results of this soon-to-be-done real world testing, be they good or bad. I at least hope the OP is successful in making the product he desires, but I am doubtful that there is much of a market for it.

He wants to sell something to us with no real data. You can run simulations all you want to get an idea of what you might expect, but until you test it for sure you can't confirm it.

This too. The wing may work well, but it may not have a great place in the market. Considering people who race usually do under SCAA rules and are required to have a certain wing, etc. It may not just be a matter of "this wing is the best, so use it!" that OP is hoping to get.

Totally off topic, but I've worked in a large chemical plant for the last 20+ years. And every so often we get new engineers straight out of school. It never fails that they try to teach me how the plant operates and what I'm doing wrong. Watching their preconceptions get crushed is like watching a train hit a Smart Car, you know what's gonna happen, but you just can't look away... 😂😂

About as concrete as his claims for the performance of his wing.
